Perhaps part of the boredom of this year's US Open has to do with Fed' early exit? No matter which fan you are Tennis used to evolve around Fed. So its a bit strange as if you have to get used to another era. On the other hand this tournament has been a homage to Federer-you know how? look at the success of the 1-handed BH lol. Kohlschreiber,Stan,Gasquet,Youzhny...At least on this surface it definitely seems to have its advantages-even more so in a best of 3 setter.
