The 2012 Asian tennis swing approaches...

Andy Murray
The dust is still settling on the final Grand Slam of 2012, which saw Serena Williams and Andy Murray reign supreme at the US Open.  The 2012 tennis season is really winding down, but the tennis just keeps on coming.  This week, there have been two WTA tournaments in Tashkent and Quebec City.  The 16-year-old, Donna Vekic has had a stunning run to the final in Tashkent, meanwhile the top two seeds in Canada (Cibulkova and Wickmayer) were out before the quarter-finals making way for a sure-fire surprise final line-up.

The Asian swing is about to kick off next week in Seoul and Guangzhou for the ladies and follows a week later for the men.  I will be away for the next few days, but will be blogging again in the middle of next week.  Although the season is slowly packing up, I will be producing previews and predictions for the the remaining tournaments including the season-ending-championships. I also have much planned during the off season including a review of my favourite 20 matches of the season... why not take a look at my review of the top matches on the WTA tour in 2011!
